Join or Renew HCHS Membership
Your membership dues allow us to pursue our mission to collect, protect, and share Howard County’s rich history through programs and exhibits at our Archives and Historical Center, The Museum of Howard County History, The Ellicott Mills Children's Museum and The Pue-Fulton Farm Museum.
Through your generosity, we are able to provide a variety of services and programs, including research assistance drawing upon our extensive collection of archival documents and artifacts, informative community outreach programming, free admission to our museums, special events programming, our monthly free Lunch Lecture series, and publication of our quarterly newsletter, The Legacy. We are also able to regularly host student interns, which allows us to introduce the younger generation to the histories of their own Howard County communities.
As a member of the Society, you can look forward to a wide range of benefits including: up to 2.5 hours of scheduled research assistance from our staff, a 10% discount on admission to paid HCHS events, and a subscription to our newsletter, The Legacy. Membership runs from January 1st through December 31st each year. Membership dues received between October 1st and December 31st are automatically applied to the following year (up to three months free!)
