Join the Howard County Historical Society for our holiday event. This year, we will be hosting a holiday house tour featuring historic Carrollton Hall (HO-16) and St. Anthony’s Shrine. Completed in 1832, Carrollton Hall was built by Charles Carroll of Carrollton for his granddaughter Emily Caton McTavish. Not yet open to the public, be among the first to view this spectacular property decorated for the holidays. The Shrine of St. Anthony, built in 1931, was designed as a small replica of Sacro Convento of Assisi, the friary and burial place in Italy of St. Francis of Assisi.
