Suffragists March for the Vote in Ellicott City!

Join the Howard County Historical Society, The League of Women Voters, The Maryland Women’s Heritage Center, and members of the Daughters of the American Revolution for a recreation Suffragist March and Speeches in Historic Ellicott City.

Living Historians, dressed in period clothing, will start at the Museum of Howard County History at 1:00 and march down Main Street to the B&O Railroad Museum and then to the Lil’ French Courtyard by 2:00 where speakers will recreate speeches given over 100 years ago in support of the 19th Amendment.

***Due to COVID, we are asking that anyone who wishes to attend the event, be mindful of social distancing and mask requirements***

Intenerary:
1:00 March starts at the Museum of Howard County History (8328 Court Avenue)
1:30 Arrive at the B&O Railroad Museum for Photos
2:00 Arrive at the Lil Market Cafe Stage in Lot D
2:10 Suffragist Speeches by Living Historians

Lil Market Cafe and Park Ridge Creamery will be open to serve food and drinks.
